Remember the story of King Midas? Everything he touched turned to gold. As great as that may sound, when he touched his son and his son turned to gold he wept.

What does this have to do with Today's Thought and choosing our thoughts wisely? Just as everything King Midas touched turned to gold, everything we think becomes reality. Whether you choose to believe it or not it is a law of the Universe...just as surely as the law of gravity.

We create things and circumstances with our thoughts. While that can be a bit unsettling the first time you actually get it, it is really good news because it means that if you so choose you can change your entire life by simply changing your thoughts.

This phenomenon is called the law of attraction. What you focus on is attracted to you; sounds great, doesn't it? There's just one catch. Because the law of attraction really works, if you focus on something you don't want you will attract it. Because our minds don't recognize the negatives, "I don't want to be late" is translated by your mind as "be late"...and you are likely to be late.

Understanding how your mind works is a real advantage in that, that knowledge can be instrumental in helping you realize your goals, improve your health, and even get that raise that you've been thinking you're not going to get.

Expect the extra income and visualize yourself investing it or spending it on something you really want and the raise is much more likely to be yours.

Nothing comes from nothing so be prepared to combine your thoughts with action and you'll be surprised by the results.

The Million Dollar Mindshift – Be My Guest  Habits Posted by   Steve Pohlit

Oct Anything we continue to do that does not serve us in manifesting our dreams is not a good use of energy. Such actions are intended to be be dismissed from our thoughts and from our lives to make room for the physical energy that moves in sync with direction from our Divine Self.

Everyone knows what thoughts and behaviors hold them back.  These vary by individual.  If your health is not optimal because of your lifestyle, your energy is compromised. If you continually go backwards in your thoughts reflecting “if only this would not have happened or I wish I had done …that or I regret ..this”, then that mental energy is being wasted on past events and circumstances that are history. I use the word wasted because none of us can change a past event. So if we are dwelling on the past then we are not creating the future.

Once you identify thought and behavior habits that are time and energy bandits, how do you change those habits?  First you must have a burning desire to focus on creating very specific outcomes. Then arrive at your own reminders as to how you want to think and act differently.

For example, if you are not happy with the food you have been getting lately at what used to be your favorite grocery store, most will select  another store.  If you are not happy with how much time you find yourself dwelling on the past then begin the process of focusing on the life you want going forward.

“You create the freedom of manifesting your dreams by stopping the habit of turning back to the old, negative conditions you are trying to get rid of”

How Do You Stop The Habit?

This is personal and individual. My personal belief is that  it takes  commitment and repetitive practice.  I look forward to your comments.

Sending you an Unconditional Love Hug
